Capabilities

What we are engaged to do.

We work where cost, risk and delivery meet accountability — the point at which a government decision-maker needs advice they can rely on and, if required, defend.

01

Cost Assurance & Estimate Review

Forming a supportable opinion on whether another party's cost submission holds up. We examine cost and schedule information submitted by proponents, contractors or applicants, test the basis of estimate, and advise where a position is not supported by the evidence behind it.

  • Cost reasonableness and value-for-money advice
  • Basis-of-estimate interrogation and challenge
  • Schedule credibility and delivery-readiness assessment
  • Design-maturity calibration — matching expected estimate confidence to the stage of design
  • Assessment frameworks built for consistency across large application populations
02

Project & Programme Delivery

End-to-end project management in regulated, security-accredited and politically sensitive environments, where governance discipline is as much the deliverable as the outcome itself.

  • Integrated schedule and dependency modelling
  • Scope, baseline and change control
  • Executive and steering-committee reporting
  • Capability options analysis
  • Stakeholder engagement across technical, assurance and executive audiences
03

Risk Management & Assurance

Risk frameworks that produce repeatable ratings rather than opinions. Aligned to AS/NZS ISO 31000 and designed so that assessment effort stays proportionate to actual exposure.

  • Risk framework and register design
  • Likelihood-by-consequence and materiality calibration
  • Assurance regime design and independent review
  • Issue escalation pathways and early-warning reporting
  • Risk maturity uplift for in-house project teams
04

Commercial & Contract Management

Commercial support from market approach through to transition into service, grounded in the frameworks Commonwealth buyers actually work within.

  • ASDEFCON suite drafting, tailoring and administration
  • Commonwealth Procurement Rules compliance
  • Approach-to-market and evaluation support
  • Contract artefact development and negotiation support
  • Supplier performance management
05

Governance, Compliance & Probity

The apparatus that makes advice defensible: documented method, independent review, conflict management and a traceable audit trail from evidence to conclusion.

  • Probity-aware assessment design
  • Standing conflict-of-interest registers and screening
  • Quality control and independent review regimes
  • Fraud and corruption control in advisory engagements
  • Records and audit-trail discipline
06

Integrated Logistics Support

Materiel and supportability management for Defence acquisition, from contract execution through to transition of product into the hands of the end user.

  • End-to-end ILS coordination
  • Codification, cataloguing and supportability deliverables
  • Operator and maintainer training provision
  • Reliability, availability and maintainability considerations
  • Transition and delivery-into-service management

How we work

Method before opinion.

An assurance opinion is only as good as the method that produced it. We document the framework before we apply it, agree the acceptance criteria before we deliver against them, and keep the reasoning visible so that any conclusion can be traced back to the evidence that produced it.

That discipline matters most when volume is high. Assessing a large population consistently is a calibration problem: a framework that ignores design maturity either penalises early-stage proponents or accepts unsupported precision. We build the calibration in, so that two assessors reach the same rating and neither rating is a matter of taste.

Where our advice informs a decision that is not ours to make, we say so plainly. The boundary between assurance advice and the delegate's decision is one we observe strictly — it is what makes the advice usable.

Let's talk about your requirement.

Direct engagement with the people who will do the work — no account managers, no handoff to a delivery team you haven't met.
