Commonwealth buyers may procure directly from an Indigenous SME for a contract of any value without a competitive process, provided value for money is demonstrated. A simple quote process is sufficient.
For contracts valued between $80,000 and $200,000, and for remote-area contracts of any value, you must first offer an Indigenous SME the opportunity to deliver on a value-for-money basis.
